Our 2’x2′ Ribbed FSC® Ipê Deck Tiles are Made in the USA, this wood tile is exactly like the non-certified Ipê Ribbed 2’x2’ version, therefore it looks the same, weighs the same and wears the same. But the wood for this deck tile is sourced from an FSC®-certified forest concession, which means that forest is selectively harvested, and replanted to grow more trees instead of converted to another use. This is not only good for the environment, but the FSC®-certification can also be a great advantage for adding LEED points to meet higher-standard Green Building Council standards.
