Our 2’x2′ Smooth FSC® Ipê Deck Tiles are Made in the USA, this wood tile is exactly like the non-certified version, therefore it looks the same, weighs the same and wears the same. But the wood for this deck tile is sourced from an FSC®-certified forest concession, which means that forest is selectively-harvested, and replanted to grow more trees instead of converted to another use. This is not only good for the environment, but the FSC®-certification can also be a great advantage for adding LEED points to meet higher-standard Green Building Council standards.
