The FSC® ribbed Ipê 1×1′ deck tile is made exactly like the smooth version, but uses slats with a ribbed profile on the surface. This ribbed profile has gently rounded ridges that provide a cooler walking surface than the smooth-face tiles. They also catch the light differently for an interesting and more pronounced contrast when installed in a parquet pattern. Absolutely comfortable on bare feet, these are perfect for steps on or around a hot tub or pool area where you want extra grip.
Made using Ipê that carries the FSC® certification, which means the wood in these tiles is from an FSC®-certified forest concession and is selectively-harvested, then replanted to grow more forest instead of converted to another use. Good for the environment, good for your deck.
