The FSC® Massaranduba 1×1′ smooth deck tile gives all the benefits of our other 1×1′ tiles, but carries the FSC® certification, which means the wood in these tiles is from an FSC®-certified forest concession and is selectively-harvested, then replanted to grow more forest instead of converted to another use. Good for the environment, good for your deck.
The wood has reddish tones which will fade in a few seasons to a silver patina (as all other woods will do), but the original color can be refreshed with pressure-washing to remove the depleted lignum cells on the surface to expose fresh wood.
